Infant

The first year changes quickly. What works one month may be unnecessary the next, so this guide favors flexible rhythms and honest notes over perfect schedules.

The everyday questions

• Feeding, sleep, and changing routines
• Leaving the house without packing the whole house
• Gear that earned its place and what we could have skipped
• Play, connection, and simple days at home
• Houston outings that work with naps and short attention spans

Keep the notes lived-in

Add ages, context, and what was true for your particular child. The most useful advice often begins with, “This is what helped us,” rather than, “This is what everyone should do.”
