Founder, Wife, Mom
Emily grew up in Katy and has spent most of her life learning the rhythms of Houston—from its wide suburban edges to the neighborhoods, churches, schools, and gathering places that make the city feel like home. Today, she is raising her family here and building Houston Homemakers as a way to help other women find connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging in the city they call home.
A little more about them
Emily Butler is a homemaker, mother, and community builder in Houston. After building a successful career—including serving in higher education—she chose to become a full-time homemaker. She now brings those same skills in communication, organization, leadership, and encouragement to the work of caring for her family and serving her community. Through Houston Homemakers, Emily shares the practical resources, honest encouragement, and local connections she wishes every woman could find as she builds a life and family in Houston.
